Today, our team left Casa Eben-Ezer and headed to Larodde, France to the Arc-en-Ciel Camp. The drive was around 5-6 hours.

We are traveling in three 9 passenger vans, so our team enjoyed some great fellowship, amazing views of Spain and France, a rain shower, as well as some unexpected detours along the way.

When the team arrived in Larodde, we were greeted by Missionary Tim Knickerbocker, Andrew and Sephora Livingstone, and Pastor Didiere Silberstein. The Livingstones run the Arc-en-Ciel camp; Missionary Knickerbocker and his wife are veteran missionaries here in France; and Pastor Silberstein is a national French pastor. We will be working with them over the next few days in various locations.

After dinner, Pastor Silberstein introduced the team to the training they will receive while they are here. Pastor Silberstein is Jewish and has a burden and a passion to reach Jewish people with the good news of the Gospel. He previewed some training he will give the team regarding evangelizing Jewish people and also started teaching the team some songs in French and Hebrew.

Tomorrow, our team will receive training from Pastor Silberstein in the morning. In the afternoon, they will be passing out tracts and inviting people to church. The team will also visit the church of Pastor Andrew Livingstone.

We are so excited for all the Lord is doing! We covet your prayers for safety on the road, for effective outreach, and for God’s leading in each aspect of the planning of this trip.

As we learned tonight, Shalom Chaverim!
