Today’s update is from Makenzie Silliman, a senior nursing major at Pensacola Christian College.

Today was such a great experience. This morning we attended the morning service of Eglise Biblique Baptiste du Paris with Pastor Emmanuel Bozzi. We got to sing a song in French for the congregation. Even though it wasn’t perfect, the people were so excited and grateful that we attended and sung a song in their church for them.

Afterwards we had a great time fellowshipping and getting to know the members of the church.  They were so kind and welcoming, and always reached out to see if we needed anything. It truly felt like a home and we all felt so comfortable there.

We later took a tour of Paris with a member of the church and his daughter as our guides. They took us to see the Eiffel Tower and many other amazing architecture around the city. They gave us the history of every piece of architecture and statue we went to see. It was amazing learning more about the city. It was also really amazing getting to bond with some of the church members and get to know them. I’m thankful that the Lord gave us the opportunity to minister to the people of the church, create relationships with them, and see the beautiful sites.
