Greetings from Saint Gaudens, France! Today we were with Missionaries David and Melissa Price doing service projects. Today’s update is from Kate Manchester, a nursing major at Pensacola Christian College.
Kate’s Update:
I, along with my team members: Natalie, and Caleb assisted in helping Dr. Adam Watt do work for a lady in the church. We mortared holes in her attic floor, cut steel, and put down flooring for her in the attic.
The remaining team members and leaders distributed gospel literature, painted rooms in the church, and stamped copies of John and Romans that the church here will distribute during the Tour du France.
Later in the day, we all joined together at pastors house, and he cooked paella for us. I truly am thankful that we could help out in the ways we did, and the pastor and his family are a blessing to be around, as well as the church members. I learned that God can work in every way! Whether it’s putting down floors, or passing out literature… it is so important to establish a connection with your community if we want to teach others about Christ.
Tomorrow:
Tomorrow, we will be leaving Saint Gaudens and heading back to Spain. On the way, we will join Missionary Price for a detour to see some historical sites that are pivotal parts of church history in Europe. Afterwards, we will drive through Andorra and then return to Casa Eben-Ezer in southern Spain. We have been so blessed with safety on the roads. Please continue to pray for us!
