Today’s update is from Nate Hogan who is a senior at Pensacola Christian College majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology, Pre-Pharmacy, and Chemistry.

Nate’s Update:

Today was a great day at Casa Eben-ezer! This morning was spent preparing for STEM presentations that some of us will be giving for the high school tomorrow at Synergy International Christian School in Barcelona, Spain. We were able to gather some supplies for an experiment I will be conducting for the students during my presentation as well as supplies for the other presentations.

After lunch, we drove about an hour to meet with Marcos and Cheche Cardozo. They are Argentinian missionaries who live in Moia which is a suburb of Barcelona. They have already planted churches in several different countries and are preparing to plant a church in a neighboring village. We helped them pass out tracts around the neighborhood they are planting a church in to help spread the word.

They prepared an amazing Argentinian barbecue for our dinner. It was a blessing to hear about the work they are doing and help them canvas their area.

Tomorrow:

Tomorrow, we are heading back to Synergy International Christian School in Barcelona to work with David and Lena Philbrick. The nursing and medical office students from our group will present health presentations to the primary students. The rest of the team will be conducting STEM (science-technology-engineering-math) workshops for the secondary students. Please continue to pray for traveling mercies as we brave the Barcelona rush hour traffic as well as opportunities to minister spiritually to the students at Synergy.
