As of this publication, our team has made it safely back to the States and their respective homes. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support for this trip. We are hopeful that the Lord will use the seeds we have sown for His glory, and we are thankful for the privilege it has been to serve Him in this way. He has used every difficulty (of which there were few) to teach us something about ourselves and others around us, and this type of learning has been invaluable.
It is one thing to know what faith is, and quite another to practice it. We experienced several moments when we were unsure how to proceed other than to pray and just keep moving forward. In moments like that, it is natural to wonder if you are in the right place, doing the right thing, or if you should be somewhere else. It was encouraging to watch members of our team be flexible and understanding of one another during those times.
Lord willing, some of us may have the opportunity to serve alongside some of those same churches and missionaries in the future.
